Under Australia's anti-money laundering laws, a business must be verified before it can use the address as its registered office or principal place of business. That's why it can be listed with ASIC or the ATO on Registered Office only, once verification is complete.
If ASIC or ATO mail arrives on another package, we hold it and let you know straight away. Then you choose:
- Upgrade to Registered Office and complete verification, and the item is released to you
- Or keep your package, and the item is returned to sender. We notify ASIC, and you update your address with them
